Procurement Manager

About the role

Luura is launching two boutique hotels on the Greek island of Paros and seeks a Procurement Manager to lead purchasing activities across both properties. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing supplier relationships to ensure the hotels operate efficiently while upholding brand standards, sustainability goals and guest experience expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with commercial, operational and sustainability objectives.
• Create, maintain and enforce purchasing policies and procedures to ensure consistency, compliance and cost control.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal value, balancing quality, reliability and price.
• Monitor procurement budgets, conduct cost analyses and identify savings opportunities without compromising standards.
• Collaborate with department heads (Rooms, F&B, Events, Engineering, etc.) to forecast needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Maintain accurate supplier contracts, agreements and performance records, and oversee competitive bidding processes.
• Lead audits and compliance checks to uphold procurement standards and sustainability initiatives.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the purchasing department and other hotel functions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing within the hospitality or related sector.
• Strong understanding of cost control, budgeting and financial analysis.
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build lasting vendor relationships.
• Knowledge of health, safety and sustainability standards applicable to hotel operations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
