Optical Fiber Technician (Phase A) – Attica

About the role

Ergomak is seeking experienced Optical Fiber Technicians for Phase A of FTTH projects in the Attica region. The role involves field work both indoors and outdoors, focusing on the installation, testing and maintenance of fiber optic networks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform fusion splicing and termination of optical fibers in cabinets, distribution nodes and passive equipment.
• Carry out network measurements and tests using OTDR, power meters and light sources, ensuring signal quality and proper documentation.
• Collaborate closely with field teams, project managers and engineers to meet project deadlines.
• Strictly adhere to technical specifications, safety regulations and equipment care standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience or technical training in fusion splicing and fiber termination.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, network diagrams and installation plans.
• Valid B‑category driving licence for field mobility.
• Professionalism, reliability, teamwork spirit and strong attention to detail.
• Relevant technical education (telecommunications, electronics or similar) or equivalent practical experience.
• Completed military service for male candidates.
