About the role
METLEN Energy & Metals is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Engineer to support its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in Larissa. The role involves rotating 8‑hour shifts, including nights and weekends, to ensure continuous, reliable energy production.
Key responsibilities
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on low and medium voltage equipment within BESS installations.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures, including repair, replacement, and installation of new parts.
- Maintain inverter availability and meet defined response‑time KPIs.
- Prepare daily, monthly, and yearly reports on electrical work and maintenance activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 1 year of experience in procurement or electromechanical work for power plants or similar installations.
- Experience with international clients in the solar market is a plus.
- Valid Electrical Installation Technician License (Group 4, Specialty A).
- Fluent English with strong communication skills.
