Operations & Maintenance Technician – Battery Energy Storage

About the role

METLEN Energy & Metals is seeking an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Technician to support its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Larissa. The role involves rotating 8‑hour shifts, including 24‑hour coverage and weekends, to ensure continuous, reliable energy production.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on photovoltaic system components, including low and medium voltage equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, carrying out repairs, replacements, and installations of new parts.
• Maintain inverter availability and meet defined response‑time and KPI targets.
• Prepare daily, monthly and yearly reports and schedules for electrical work performed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least one year of experience in power‑plant procurement, electromechanical installations or solar‑market projects.
• Electrical Installation Technician License (Group 4, Specialty A).
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.
