.NET Software Developer – AI‑Enhanced Development

About the role

We are looking for a .NET Software Developer to join our Tax and Legal Digital Asset Factory. The role focuses on building AI‑enhanced, scalable applications that support our digital transformation agenda. You will work with cutting‑edge tools such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Foundry AI agents to accelerate delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust, scalable .NET applications using C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Leverage AI‑driven development tools (GitHub Copilot Cloud, Microsoft Foundry AI agents) to generate, optimise and review code.
• Critically assess AI‑generated code for security, maintainability and compliance with project standards.
• Automate routine coding tasks with AI, allowing focus on complex problem‑solving.
• Deploy and manage solutions on Azure cloud services, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback and create clear documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and apply coding best practices.
• Mentor team members, share knowledge and contribute to AI enablement initiatives across the technology function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in .NET development with strong C# expertise.
• Proven experience using GitHub Copilot and other AI‑driven development platforms.
• Ability to quickly adopt emerging AI technologies and integrate them into the software development lifecycle.
