IT System Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an Entry‑Mid Level System Administrator with a strong focus on networking and telephony infrastructure to join our IT team. This role is responsible for maintaining and supporting our LAN/WAN environment, VoIP/telephony systems, and core network hardware, while also assisting with general server and systems administration tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain switches, routers, firewalls and wireless access points; monitor performance and troubleshoot LAN, WAN and VPN connectivity.
• Administer and support VoIP platforms (Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft Teams Phone, 3CX or similar); manage handset provisioning, call routing, voicemail and hunt groups.
• Assist with day‑to‑day administration of Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP; support backup, patching and monitoring routines.
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, network and account issues; resolve help‑desk tickets end‑to‑end via the ITSM platform.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in system administration, network support or telecom support.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP and VPN.
• Exposure to VoIP/telephony concepts (SIP, QoS, call routing) and basic firewall/security knowledge.
• Familiarity with Windows Server and/or Linux server administration.
• Comfortable using network monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, PRTG or SolarWinds.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and good communication for coordinating with vendors and end users.
