Mid-level Android Engineer – EFT POS Applications

About the role

We are looking for a Mid Android Engineer to design, develop and maintain Android EFT POS applications for a leading transaction technology provider. The role involves translating business requirements into robust technical solutions and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Android EFT POS applications.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in software development, testing and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues and defects; maintain project documentation.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure solution quality.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Hands‑on experience building Android apps with strong familiarity in Android design principles and best practices.
• Experience in Java and Kotlin; C++ experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Android SDK across different Android versions and screen sizes.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs (JSON) to connect Android applications to back‑end services.
• Experience in a software architect role with integration, functional and UI automation testing, and mobile security background.
• Experience with banking technologies and transaction processing is an advantage.
• Excellent command of Greek and English.

• Modern Android architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, Dagger/Hilt).
• CI/CD pipelines and automated mobile deployment.
• Mobile application security best practices (secure data storage, encryption, authentication).
