Mechanical Engineer – Customer Solutions (Athens)

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Solutions Engineer to join our team in Athens, Greece. In this role you will own the order handling process, including prospecting, tendering, technical specification, traffic calculations, CAD and layout drawings, and estimating delivery times and costs. You will serve as a key technical contact for our customers and provide critical support to the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Customer Relationship Management – support sales by analyzing technical needs, develop proposals, act as main technical contact and attend planning/specification meetings.
• Technical Sales Support – provide technical and cost estimation, coordinate specifications and delivery times with supply line, sourcing and subcontractors, ensure engineering complies with codes and safety standards.
• Technical Support in the Delivery Process – ensure technical accuracy during delivery, organize order documentation, handle technical drawings and project documents.

Required profile

• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Fluent in written and spoken English
