Laundry Attendant

About the role

As a Laundry Attendant at Luura, you will ensure that guest laundry, staff uniforms, and hotel linen are cleaned, handled, and delivered to the highest standards. You will work closely with the Housekeeping team, operating laundry machinery safely and maintaining a tidy, well‑stocked laundry area.

Key responsibilities

• Handle guest laundry, staff uniforms, and linen with care, following hotel quality standards.
• Operate laundry machines and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the linen and laundry areas, ensuring supplies are stocked.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linen, guest laundry, and staff uniforms.
• Check the quality of items received from outsourced laundry vendors and report discrepancies.
• Keep accurate records of linen movement, cleaning schedules, and equipment maintenance.
• Assist in training Linen and Laundry Coordinators on operational standards.
• Monitor chemical and cleaning supply stock levels and ensure proper storage and usage.
• Conduct periodic cleaning and maintenance of laundry machines, reporting issues promptly.
• Follow safety, hygiene, and security procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Thoughtful and attentive to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with housekeeping and other hotel teams.
• Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift laundry loads.
