Junior Payments Analyst

About the role

HarborLab is seeking a Junior Payments Analyst to join its Payments team in Athens. You will support FX and Treasury Operations, handling transactions, reporting, reconciliation and various ad‑hoc tasks while learning in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring daily cash and executing payments under supervision.
• Investigate and resolve transaction issues and inquiries.
• Prepare accurate, timely reports and compliance documentation.
• Maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and payment service providers.
• Support cash‑management processes, controls and policies, flagging improvement opportunities.
• Participate in automation initiatives, developing coding skills to enhance efficiency.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in treasury, banking or finance operations.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or another STEM field.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Fulfilled military obligations where applicable.
