IT Technician

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on IT Technician to keep our hotel’s IT infrastructure running smoothly, securely, and efficiently. You will support employees, maintain hardware and software, and ensure technology aligns with daily hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Set up workstations with computers, routers, printers and other peripherals.
• Inspect and verify functionality of hardware components such as HDDs, mice, keyboards, etc.
• Install and configure software according to specifications.
• Maintain and optimise local networks, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Guarantee network and system security and data privacy.
• Provide user orientation and training on new software and equipment.
• Plan and schedule upgrades and maintenance without disrupting staff work.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve technical issues, repairing or replacing parts as needed.
• Keep detailed logs of repairs, fixes and maintenance schedules.
• Identify equipment shortages and place purchase orders.

Required profile

• Fluency in English and Greek, both spoken and written.
• Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Good knowledge of computer systems, networks, internet security and data‑privacy principles.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; IT Technician certification is a plus.
• Experience with Opera/Micros PMS/POS systems is an asset.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
