IT Infrastructure Engineer – Windows, AD & VMware

About the role

We’re looking for an IT Systems Engineer to join our global Infrastructure & Platform team. In this role you will design, implement, maintain, and continuously improve infrastructure systems that support PSI’s business operations worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain and improve Windows and Linux server infrastructure.
• Manage virtualization, storage and backup platforms, including VMware, Proxmox or Hyper‑V.
• Administer Windows Active Directory and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
• Support enterprise applications and services on Windows and Linux, such as email/MTA systems.
• Handle infrastructure monitoring, patch management, configuration management and access control.
• Plan and execute OS patching and infrastructure upgrades.
• Lead small‑to‑medium infrastructure projects and contribute to larger initiatives.
• Maintain accurate asset inventory, warranties and vendor contracts.
• Develop and keep technical documentation, procedures and system standards.

Required profile

• University degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Strong hands‑on experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Practical experience with virtualization technologies and Linux server administration.
• Experience with PKI, email/MTA, backup and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and produce detailed documentation.
