Investment Banking Associate / Vice President – Athens

About the role

AXIA Ventures Group Ltd is seeking an experienced professional to join its Investment Banking Division in Athens. The role involves leading the execution of M&A, debt advisory, restructuring and capital‑raising transactions while supporting business development and client relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day execution of M&A, debt advisory, restructuring and capital‑raising deals across multiple sectors.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models for transaction analysis and valuation.
• Prepare high‑quality transaction materials such as pitchbooks, information memoranda and management presentations.
• Coordinate workstreams, due‑diligence processes, data‑room management and interaction with clients and external advisers.
• Participate in, and when appropriate lead, client meetings, management presentations and investor or lender calls.
• Mentor junior team members, review their work and ensure timely delivery of client deliverables.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction services or financial advisory (6+ years for VP level).
• Strong academic background with at least a bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
• Fluent in written and spoken Greek and English.
• Proven ability to manage transaction processes, meet tight deadlines and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
