International Shipping & Logistics Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced International Shipping & Logistics Specialist to manage time‑critical shipments across our global network. You will coordinate the entire shipment lifecycle, from planning and documentation to final delivery, ensuring smooth and compliant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee international shipments, ensuring timely execution from origin to final delivery.
• Prepare, review, and maintain all export/import and shipping documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, suppliers, agents, and internal teams worldwide.
• Monitor shipments proactively, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date shipment records and complete operational updates.
• Collaborate with the Spares Department, Technical Team, and other functions to support service requirements.
• Evaluate shipping options and contribute to cost‑effective logistics solutions.
• Post and maintain logistics transactions in the company’s ERP system.
• Support continuous improvement of logistics procedures and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Shipping, Freight Forwarding, Marine Supply or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in international shipping, logistics or freight forwarding.
• Strong understanding of international shipping processes and documentation.
• Proven ability to independently coordinate multiple shipments.
• Experience in purchasing or procurement within the maritime or technical sector is a plus.
• Familiarity with marine equipment, spare parts or chemicals is advantageous.

• Hands‑on experience with SoftOne ERP.
