Human Resources Director

About the role

The Human Resources Director will lead the transformation of the HR function for a leading luxury hospitality organisation in Northern Greece. Reporting to senior leadership and working closely with ownership, the role shapes the people agenda during a period of rapid growth and portfolio expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an HR and People Strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Design and implement the structure, policies, and capabilities of a modern HR function.
• Oversee talent acquisition, performance management, compensation & benefits, learning & development, employee relations, and succession planning.
• Lead workforce planning, staffing strategies, and HR budgeting to support current and future operations.
• Evaluate and deploy HR systems and technology to improve efficiency and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Drive employer branding, employee engagement, retention, and leadership development initiatives.
• Partner with senior management on organisational design, change management, and culture transformation.
• Act as a trusted strategic advisor to ownership and senior leadership on people, organisation, and culture matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Law or a related field.
• Post‑graduate degree in HR or Business Administration is strongly desirable.
• Minimum 10 years of HR experience, including senior leadership roles.
• Fluency in Greek and English.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR‑related digital tools.
