HR Operations Associate

About the role

At Light & Wonder, the HR Operations Associate will be part of the EMEA People Solution Center, supporting a workforce of over 1,000 employees across multiple countries. The role ensures a seamless employee experience throughout the entire lifecycle, from onboarding to off‑boarding, while maintaining compliance with local regulations and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for HR queries across the EMEA region, delivering timely and professional service.
• Support employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, employee changes, and off‑boarding.
• Administer HR processes, policies, and procedures across several countries, ensuring local compliance.
• Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS, payroll, and benefits systems, safeguarding data integrity and confidentiality.
• Coordinate onboarding events and assist managers in creating a positive first‑day experience.
• Respond to employee enquiries within agreed service levels to ensure a consistent experience.
• Assist Senior HR Specialists with projects, process improvements and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Help ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies and governance requirements throughout EMEA.

Required profile

• Previous experience in HR administration, HR operations, shared services or a customer‑focused administrative environment.
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Customer‑first mindset and passion for delivering an excellent employee experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced setting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
