HR Manager – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Avant Mar Hotel & Suites in Paros seeks an experienced HR Manager to lead the hotel’s human resources function year‑round. You will work closely with the General Manager and department heads to foster a positive employee experience and high‑performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily HR operations, including orientation, onboarding, and integration of new staff.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and management, supporting staff relations and communication.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on HR initiatives, recruitment, staffing, performance management, and retention.
• Coordinate training and development programs and ensure consistent application of company policies and hospitality standards.
• Ensure HR practices comply with Greek employment legislation and hotel requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Manager or senior HR professional, preferably in a five‑star hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, training, and HR administration.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in Greek and English.
• Highly organised, discreet, approachable, and solution‑oriented.
• Previous experience working in Greece and knowledge of Greek employment practices.
