Head Waiter

About the role

We are seeking two experienced Head Waiters to join a brand‑new hospitality concept in the heart of Athens. This role goes beyond traditional restaurant service – you will be the main storyteller, guiding guests through a unique blend of premium gastronomy, culture, and history.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the front‑of‑house team to ensure seamless daily operations and service excellence.
• Act as the lead storyteller, presenting the culinary concept and the venue’s history with engaging, authentic interactions.
• Coach, motivate and develop team members to become confident communicators.
• Manage the guest journey from welcome to departure, embodying genuine Greek hospitality.
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen and wider hospitality team to maintain a flawless dining experience.
• Wear the bespoke uniform that reflects the venue’s historical and cultural identity.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Head Waiter, Restaurant Supervisor, or another senior front‑of‑house role.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
• Fluent in both Greek and English.
• Availability to work weekends.
• Interest in gastronomy, culture, tourism, or hospitality is a strong plus.
