Head Housekeeper – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Fouquet’s Mykonos, the Barrière Group’s first Greek resort, is looking for a Head Housekeeper to guarantee absolute cleanliness, hygiene and aesthetic perfection across its 61 suites, three private villas and public areas. You will lead and inspire the housekeeping team, ensuring the highest luxury standards and flawless guest comfort throughout the peak season.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain flawless cleanliness and presentation of all guest rooms, suites, villas and public spaces in line with Barrière luxury standards.
• Ensure strict compliance with Greek health, safety and sanitisation regulations.
• Conduct daily inspections of departing, arriving and occupied rooms as well as back‑of‑house areas.
• Oversee premium linen, amenity, uniform and cleaning‑supply inventory and storage.
• Recruit, train, schedule and manage housekeeping and laundry staff, conducting appraisals and fostering development.
• Coordinate room assignments and turn‑around times with Front Office and Guest Relations, handling special guest requests.
• Liaise with Maintenance to report and follow up on repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Manage stock levels and purchasing in accordance with Group policies to ensure continuity during high season.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented professional with strong leadership and team‑motivation abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of luxury hospitality standards and Greek health and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently under demanding peak‑season conditions.
