Governance, Risk & Compliance Associate – Shipping

About the role

Join PwC Greece’s Governance, Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit (GRC & IA) consulting team focused on the shipping sector. As an Associate you will support clients in navigating complex regulatory and operational challenges, turning ambiguity into actionable insight.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse ambiguous, unstructured problems specific to the shipping industry.
• Execute assigned tasks within project work streams, collaborating closely with senior associates and client teams.
• Apply commercial awareness and common‑sense judgment to assess information quality and reliability.
• Prepare documentation, reports and client presentations using MS Office tools.
• Learn and apply PwC methodologies under the guidance of experienced professionals.
• Participate in team meetings to align on project objectives and share progress.
• Explore AI‑powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot for simple automation and efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• 0‑3 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Internal Audit, Risk Management or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek.
• Excellent attention to detail and a client‑centric mindset.
• Motivated, curious and collaborative professional eager to learn.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or similar AI‑assisted productivity tools.
