ESG & Sustainable Finance Analyst (VIE)

About the role

Euronext's ESG team promotes ESG financial products, develops thought leadership on sustainable finance, supports clients on their ESG journey, improves Euronext's own ESG ratings, helps implement the CSRD, delivers the SBTI 1.5 degree roadmap and trains employees on ESG topics. The company is looking for a 2-year VIE (voluntary internship) based in Athens, open to students in their gap year or at the end of their studies, with the possibility of moving to another group location after one year.

Key responsibilities

• Support the ESG team in rolling out the Sustainability Strategy
• Provide qualified updates on evolving ESG regulations and competitors' initiatives
• Contribute to the structuring and animation of the Euronext Sustainable Network and Euronext Sustainability Week
• Take part in organizing and developing the Euronext Trading Game, part of the Euronext Foundation's scope
• Contribute to Euronext's sustainability reporting (CSRD, rating agencies, etc.)

Required profile

• Final or penultimate year student from a Tier 1 university, business or engineering school, with strong academic credentials
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Fluent English, spoken and written
• Good knowledge of the financial sector
• Strong interest in sustainability-related topics
• A previous internship or position in ESG consulting, an ESG department or sustainable finance is a plus
