Director of Revenue Management

About the role

JW Marriott Crete Resort & Spa is seeking an experienced Director of Revenue Management to shape the commercial strategy of Greece’s first JW Marriott luxury resort, slated to open in 2025. This senior leader will work closely with sales, marketing, finance and hotel leadership to drive revenue growth and profitability across rooms and function spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute pricing and revenue strategies for transient, wholesale, group and function space segments.
• Lead forecasting, demand analysis, inventory optimisation and competitive positioning.
• Identify market trends and future demand opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
• Translate complex commercial data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
• Support sales strategy discussions and drive market‑share growth.
• Optimise rate positioning across all distribution channels.
• Contribute to annual business planning, budgeting and room revenue forecasting.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and mentor revenue management talent.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Hotel & Restaurant Management or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in revenue management, preferably across multiple properties.
• Proven commercial judgement, analytical capability and confidence to influence senior leaders.
• Passion for developing people and building high‑performing teams.

Required skills

• Strong expertise in pricing, forecasting, inventory management and revenue optimisation.
• Excellent analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Ability to turn insight into strategy and strategy into action.
