Digital Assurance Hub Associate

About the role

Join PwC’s Digital Assurance Hub as an Associate and help clients navigate technology, data, AI and regulatory change. You will embed assurance into digital products, data pipelines and infrastructure, ensuring they are secure, compliant and reliable by design.

Key responsibilities

• Support the assessment of secure and reliable operation of IT systems and digital environments.
• Assist in IT‑related audit procedures for financial statement audits and controls‑based engagements.
• Analyze large data sets to evaluate data quality, completeness and accuracy.
• Extract, transform and cleanse data to support assurance procedures and generate insights.
• Test IT General Controls (ITGCs), automated controls and digital processes.
• Contribute to data governance, data migration and controls monitoring activities.
• Prepare reports, dashboards and visualisations using digital tools.
• Support regulatory compliance work (e.g., NIS2, DORA, GDPR, EU AI Act) and emerging assurance areas such as AI governance and data bias audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong digital mindset with interest in technology, systems, data, controls, compliance, cybersecurity and AI.
• Fluent in Greek and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Understanding of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and automated controls.
• Data extraction, transformation and cleansing techniques.
• Ability to analyse large data sets for quality and completeness.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, NIS2, DORA and the EU AI Act.
