DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

Sword Services Greece is looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join its multinational team. You will support the delivery of critical projects for EU institutions and private‑sector clients, both in Greece and abroad, ensuring high‑quality, secure, and rapid software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and continuously improve DevOps/DevSecOps strategies and processes across project scopes.
• Design, develop, and maintain tools and infrastructure that support system and component development.
• Analyse code, perform reviews, and communicate feedback to development teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a DevOps/DevSecOps Engineer.
• Strong background in network, server, and application‑status monitoring.
• Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with automation tools for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools such as Git, GitHub, OpenShift, Helm, Kafka and Istio.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek.
• Demonstrated self‑development, adaptability, solution‑focus, customer orientation, creativity, teamwork and accountability.
