Data / BI Engineer – Hybrid (Thessaloniki, Ioannina, Patras)

About the role

Deloitte’s Alexander Competence Center is looking for a Data / BI Engineer to join its Engineering, AI & Data service line. The role is based in Thessaloniki, Ioannina or Patras and offers a hybrid working model while delivering data solutions for international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement PaaS solutions using public and hybrid cloud offerings.
• Build data analytics solutions on‑premise and in the cloud.
• Develop data pipelines, APIs and ETL processes with Python, SQL, PySpark or SSIS on Azure or AWS.
• Work with large relational databases and big‑data platforms, optimizing data management workflows.
• Create batch and real‑time pipelines using cloud data‑processing frameworks.
• Produce high‑quality deliverables and collaborate with multi‑functional, international teams.
• Apply analytical, data‑driven approaches to solve fast‑changing business problems.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into data processes.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of working autonomously within distributed teams.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to clients.
