Customer Solution Specialist - Oncology Sales

About the role

Amgen is hiring a Customer Solution Specialist for its oncology sales team covering North Greece. The role works with the manager to build and run territory plans and key account plans, and to grow the business while serving patients.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the manager to develop and implement territory POA and key account plans, and evaluate progress against them each month, agreeing on course corrections
• Contribute to Cluster and Territory teams by agreeing on key account objectives and responsibilities, and learn best practices from peers and the District Manager
• Understand industry and healthcare trends, including how retail, clinics and hospitals operate
• Gather competitive information and follow through on customer commitments and requests in a timely way
• Report customer activity in the CRM system and keep customer profiles up to date
• Stay within the agreed expense budget and seek advice to organise activities
• Continuously improve product knowledge, communication and selling skills through self-learning and agreed training programmes

Required profile

• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• At least 2 years in a sales-related job in oncology
• Fluency in the local language, spoken and written
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in life sciences or biomedical sciences, knowledge of customer relationship management principles, exposure to various disciplines and organisational levels, and exposure to project management principles

Required skills

• Good knowledge of computer systems, including CRM databases and MS Office
