Content Creator Internship – Social Media & Communications

About the role

Second Tree is seeking a motivated Content Creator intern to help produce compelling written and visual material that supports its work with refugees and asylum seekers in Epirus. The intern will collaborate with the communications team to ensure all outputs reflect the organisation’s values and strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Produce written and visual content for social media, press releases, newsletters, events, articles, website, campaigns, blogs and reports.
• Maintain an overview of Second Tree’s activities and align content with strategic plans.
• Identify content opportunities and create engaging outputs for diverse audiences.
• Develop and manage detailed timelines to guarantee timely production and publication.
• Take, edit, and organise photo and video material for communication purposes.
• Coordinate with translators to ensure multilingual content delivery.

Required profile

• Strong alignment with Second Tree’s values and a passion for supporting refugees and asylum seekers.
• Excellent written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail.
