Construction Project Manager

About the role

ERGMASIN is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to take full responsibility for delivering public construction projects across Greece, from planning and site organization through to completion and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the overall project execution plan, including schedule, budget, milestones, resources and risk register.
• Monitor progress, costs, cash‑flow and forecasts, taking corrective actions when needed.
• Coordinate site managers, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
• Manage subcontractor selection, contracts, negotiations and compliance.
• Oversee procurement of critical materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery.
• Handle variations, claims, contractual risks and documentation for public‑sector procedures.
• Ensure health & safety, quality standards, ISO compliance and successful project handover.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on construction project management experience.
• Proven responsibility for at least one €2 million+ project, covering budget, schedule and contractor management.
• Strong site‑based experience with public and private projects; knowledge of public works procedures is a plus.
• Native Greek language, good English proficiency, valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office, especially Excel.
• Project planning tools such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Experience with ERP systems and digital cost‑tracking tools.
• PMP or equivalent project‑management certification.
• AutoCAD for drawing review and coordination.
