Community Engagement & Accountability Officer

About the role

Second Tree is seeking a Community Engagement & Accountability Officer to support the planning and execution of integration activities and projects. This internship will help ensure community members' needs and opinions shape our work.

Key responsibilities

• Create timelines and coordinate plans for community engagement events.
• Summarise data collection in reports and project deliverables.
• Communicate with community members and build trusting relationships.
• Manage the organisation of proposals and other documents produced by the CEA team.
• Maintain records, files, reports, databases, and resource materials for the CEA team.
• Research information and gather data needed for community reporting.
• Collaborate with the wider Second Tree team to align events and projects with organisational and programme strategies.
• Support the CEA team to ensure strong community engagement.

Required profile

• Strong communication abilities and relationship‑building skills.
• Organised and detail‑oriented with experience handling documents and data.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
