Civil Engineer – Mall Construction & Renovation

About the role

The Civil Engineer will lead construction and renovation projects across our shopping mall portfolio. Acting as the primary point of contact, you will ensure technical compliance, safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, plan and supervise construction and renovation works in malls.
• Assess and record facility and infrastructure needs, and develop implementation plans.
• Manage budgeting, scheduling and financial monitoring of projects.
• Lead health and safety compliance on site in collaboration with the H&S Manager.
• Oversee licensing, permitting and legislative compliance.
• Prepare tender documents, define technical specifications, evaluate offers and manage contracts.
• Coordinate with study engineers and technical consultants.
• Design and implement annual repair and upgrade plans, including inspections and certifications.
• Support centre management on construction‑related matters and maintain asset condition knowledge.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports and ad‑hoc analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and membership in the Greek Chamber of Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in building or retail‑store projects.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMI) and knowledge of permitting legislation are a plus.
• Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proactive, reliable and able to work under pressure.
