Assistant Waiter – Luxury Resort

About the role

Join the hospitality team at Domes Zeen Chania, a 5‑star Luxury Collection resort in Crete. As an Assistant Waiter you will support the restaurant floor, ensuring smooth service and a memorable dining experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Waiter and Restaurant Manager to organise the work area.
• Clean and set tables, maintain a tidy dining environment.
• Assist in serving drinks and dishes, ensuring timely delivery.
• Continuously supervise your assigned area to anticipate guest needs.
• Communicate constantly with the Waiter to provide seamless customer service.
• Take charge of final table cleaning at the end of each shift.

Required profile

• Graduate in tourism or a related field.
• Very good command of English; a second foreign language is a plus.
• Previous experience in à‑la‑carte or 5‑star hotel restaurants is desirable.
• Polite, pleasant and friendly personality with a strong customer‑service orientation.
• Team‑spirit, cooperation and a neat appearance.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of service techniques.
