Assistant Pastry Chef

About the role

Dimitris Economides Athens is seeking an Assistant Pastry Chef to join its high‑end pastry and chocolate kitchen in Neo Psychiko. The role is full‑time, on‑site and supports the creation of refined pâtisserie and chocolate products in a modern, creative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior pastry chefs in daily preparation and production of pastries, desserts, and chocolate items.
• Follow standardized recipes accurately while contributing ideas under guidance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with hygiene standards.
• Measure, mix, and bake ingredients, monitoring cooking times and temperatures.
• Support inventory management by receiving supplies and reporting stock levels.
• Participate in plating and presentation to uphold the shop’s high aesthetic standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a pastry shop, hotel, restaurant, or professional kitchen.
• Detail‑oriented, reliable, and strong team player.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Commitment to continuous development and willingness to learn new techniques.

Required skills

• Proficiency in following detailed pastry recipes.
