Assistant Housekeeping Manager – Seasonal Position

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join the MarBella hotel in Corfu for the 2027 season. Working closely with the Housekeeping Manager, you will help ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest care across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily room status, priorities and special guest requirements with the Housekeeping Manager.
• Coordinate and supervise daily housekeeping operations, assigning workloads and monitoring progress.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, public areas and F&B outlets to maintain consistent quality.
• Identify maintenance issues or damages and liaise with the Maintenance department for prompt resolution.
• Respond to guest requests and special requirements promptly and professionally.
• Guide, support and motivate housekeeping team members throughout each shift.
• Participate in onboarding, training and ongoing development of staff.
• Monitor inventory of linens, amenities and equipment, supporting efficient stock management.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Maintenance and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, health and safety regulations and internal procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Flexibility to work on‑site during the seasonal period.
