Assistant Forklift Operator

About the role

The Assistant Forklift Operator supports PepsiCo’s warehouse operations by handling incoming raw materials, managing inventory flow, and ensuring safe movement of goods within the facility. This onsite position works closely with production and logistics teams to maintain efficient supply to the processing lines.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and store raw materials and finished goods following FEFO, allergen segregation, and food‑safety standards.
• Unload potatoes, count big bags per lot, and store them in the dedicated potato warehouse.
• Supply production lines with materials according to the bill of materials and production schedule, executing WMS orders for picking, replenishment, inbound deliveries, and returns.
• Operate forklifts, move pallets between storage locations, and handle equipment charging and reporting of any malfunctions.
• Support health, safety, and environment (HSE) initiatives by following safety procedures, reporting hazards, and using personal protective equipment.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and barcode systems.
• Ability to support loading and unloading activities safely.
• Understanding of job‑related hazards and commitment to safety protocols.
