Application Support Agent

About the role

Netcompany is hiring an Application Support Agent in Patras to join its application support team at the Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CONNECT), which develops and implements policies for a digital Europe. The agent supports the Digital Service Act (DSA), which regulates online intermediaries and platforms such as marketplaces, social networks, content-sharing platforms, app stores and online travel and accommodation platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and log user requests, incidents and questions, provide technical support, investigate problems and decide on the right course of action
• Handle all communication with end users and provide services to all stakeholders according to ITIL best practices, handling and documenting every request
• Take part in meetings with the development team
• Improve documentation and create FAQs based on incoming calls, write user manuals and web documentation for information systems
• Prepare and deliver training courses on information systems to different stakeholders

Required profile

• University degree or vocational institute (IEK) diploma in Information Technology
• Proven knowledge of end-user assistance and support of information systems
• At least one year of successful experience in user support
• C1-level English at European level (mandatory)
• Good analytical skills, solution-oriented and proactive approach to problems
• Strong communication skills, ability to work in an international, multicultural environment and strong teamwork
