Android Developer – Kotlin & Compose

About the role

Desquared is looking for a talented Android Software Engineer to join its product‑focused team. You will help create high‑quality mobile experiences used by millions each month, working in a collaborative, agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, design and develop efficient, reliable Android applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable Kotlin code using Jetpack Compose.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional agile teams to deliver excellent user experiences.
• Solve complex architectural challenges and mentor junior team members.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies, including AI‑assisted development tools.

Required profile

• Fluent in Greek and proficient in English.
• At least 1 year of professional Android development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and a testing mindset.
• Completed mandatory military service (for male candidates, if applicable).

Required skills

• Kotlin
• Jetpack Compose
• Android SDK
• Consuming and testing REST APIs
• Familiarity with MVI architecture (preferred)
• Knowledge of Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) (preferred)
• Experience with AI‑powered development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or Copilot
