Accounts Payable Assistant Manager

About the role

Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounts Payable Assistant Manager to join its Finance team. In this position you will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the hotel’s accounts payable function, supporting day‑to‑day financial operations for a world‑class luxury hospitality brand.

Key responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payment in accordance with Four Seasons policies.
• Maintain and reconcile accounts payable ledger, addressing discrepancies and communicating with suppliers.
• Prepare accruals and journal entries during month‑end and year‑end closing using the hotel’s accounting system.
• Support monthly financial reporting by providing accurate payable data and analysis.
• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Purchasing, Operations) to resolve billing issues and improve processes.
• Monitor compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proactive and detail‑oriented professional with strong organizational skills.
• Experience in accounts payable or related finance functions within a hospitality or service environment.
• Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and month‑end closing procedures.
