Accountant - Tax & Financial Reporting

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant – Tax & Financial Reporting to join the Finance team of Jungheinrich Hellas. The role combines tax compliance, financial reporting and audit activities in a multinational environment, supporting digital tax initiatives and IFRS reporting cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Manage tax compliance processes for e‑books (myDATA), e‑invoicing and e‑delivery, and support other tax obligations such as TAXISnet submissions.
• Serve as point of contact for internal stakeholders and external auditors on digital tax requirements.
• Assist the Accounting Manager in preparing statutory financial statements in line with local regulations.
• Coordinate and execute annual assurance and tax audits, ensuring timely documentation.
• Contribute to month‑end close activities based on IFRS standards.
• Prepare transfer pricing documentation and supporting analysis.
• Monitor intercompany billing and vendor invoices for correct accounting treatment.
• Develop and maintain reporting files using SAP data for financial and commercial reporting.
• Participate in internal control procedures and provide analysis to the Finance Director.
• Collaborate with Sales, HR and Commercial departments to ensure accurate financial data flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a Big 4 firm (Tax or Audit) or a structured accounting environment.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Professional certification such as ACCA, ACA, IESOEL or a Tax Diploma is a strong asset.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Knowledge of IFRS reporting standards.
• Understanding of transfer pricing documentation.
• Hands‑on experience with digital tax compliance (e‑books, e‑invoicing, e‑delivery).
