About the role
We are seeking an Accountant to join the Finance team at Authentic Carriers Co. based in Glyfada. The position supports daily financial operations and assists with the year‑end closing process, with a particular focus on the shipping sector.
Key responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with year‑end closing activities and related reporting.
- Process payments and manage bank reconciliations.
- Reconcile supplier statements and ensure timely settlements.
- Monitor voyage profit and loss statements.
- Collaborate with other finance team members to ensure data integrity.
Required profile
- Highly organised and detail‑oriented.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- Interest in building a career within the shipping industry.
- Previous experience in shipping finance is a strong advantage.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
