Accountant – Financial Operations Support

About the role

Priority Quality Consultants is looking for an experienced Accountant to join its dynamic finance team. The role will handle day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensure regulatory compliance and support the preparation of financial reports in a fast‑growing consulting environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily accounting transactions and invoice entries accurately in the ERP system.
• Monitor and verify incoming and outgoing invoices through the myDATA portal to ensure compliance.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of VAT returns, withholding taxes and other statutory obligations.
• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable, bank transactions and related entries.
• Cross‑check monthly payroll reports for calculation accuracy.
• Maintain a well‑organized digital filing system for corporate records and supporting documentation.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and general‑ledger entries.
• Process invoices and manage accounts‑payable activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a comparable accounting or finance position.
• Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail and ability to work confidentially.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (and Greek if applicable).
• Military obligations fulfilled for male applicants.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Good knowledge of Greek GAAP.
• Experience with the myDATA portal.
• Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with EnterSoft ERP is a plus.
• Use of accounting software for journal entries and reporting.
