Product Designer - Mobile

About the role

Kpler is looking for a Product Designer to shape how global decision‑makers interact with complex energy, maritime and commodity trade intelligence. You will work in a cross‑functional product squad, turning dense data workflows into intuitive interfaces that empower analysts and traders worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise, prototype and deliver user‑centred design solutions in Figma for new product capabilities and workflow enhancements.
• Distil intricate data flows, geospatial mapping tools and market analytics into clear, human‑centric interfaces.
• Maintain and extend Kpler’s shared design system (Atlas) to ensure visual consistency and component quality.
• Partner with Product Managers and Engineering leads to create 3‑6 month design visions, wireframes and high‑fidelity prototypes.
• Gather user feedback, analyse interaction patterns and iterate rapidly to refine micro‑copy and edge‑case behaviours.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and product stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle to preserve design intent.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of professional product design experience on web applications, complex dashboards or data‑intensive B2B software.
• Advanced mastery of Figma, including auto‑layout, interactive components, design tokens, responsive layout rules and prototyping.
• Proven ability to drive design projects from discovery through pixel‑perfect visual design and developer handoff.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset for simplifying dense, multi‑step workflows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English to articulate design rationale.

Required skills

• Figma (advanced proficiency with auto‑layout, interactive components, design tokens, responsive layout rules, prototyping).
• Experience working with and contributing to a shared design system.
