Experienced Tax Consultant

About the role

Grant Thornton Greece is seeking an Experienced Tax Consultant to provide tax consulting services, handle tax projects, and deliver excellent client service within a team of qualified professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Providing tax consulting services (direct and/or indirect tax, International tax, M&A).
• Handling tax projects in a team of tax professionals.
• Identifying and proposing solutions to complex tax issues.
• Delivering excellent client services.
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing them.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a relevant field.
• 5‑8 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in Greek and English.
• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and in a team.
• Completed military obligations.

Required skills

• Advanced use of MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience in a law firm or audit firm (considered an asset).
• Completion of the KOE Taxation Seminar or a similar program (significant asset).
