Customer Service Specialist – Grid

About the role

The Customer Service Specialist for the Grid market supports the sales team by handling quotations, order processing, and post‑sale activities. Working closely with sales, finance, logistics and technical departments, the role ensures accurate and timely execution of customer requests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit quotations under the guidance of the sales manager, following sales policies.
• Register quotations and orders in the CRM and SAP systems, adhering to internal procedures.
• Book required metals according to customer agreements and hedging rules.
• Create and modify customer and delivery recipient codes in SAP.
• Coordinate order approval with Finance, generate New Order Advice Forms, and track purchase requisitions.
• Monitor order progress, provide early warnings of delays, and confirm shipment dates.
• Invoice shipments, verify payments, and follow collections.
• Prepare monthly rolling sales forecasts and metal P&L reporting for the segment.
• Back‑up handling of non‑cable scrap materials, including order registration and logistics communication.

Required profile

• Familiarity with sales policies, quotation processes and metal hedging rules.
• Experience registering customers, orders and codes in SAP.
• Ability to work with Finance for approvals, invoicing and payment follow‑up.
• Capability to prepare forecasts and segment reporting.
