About the role

Orca AI is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join its fast‑growing team in Greece. You will focus on generating qualified sales opportunities for the company’s AI‑driven maritime platform, helping to expand its footprint in the global shipping industry.

Key responsibilities

• Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas.
• Engage prospects via phone calls, emails, and social media.
• Conduct market‑mapping and organization‑mapping to identify new client prospects.
• Qualify inbound leads and turn them into sales opportunities.
• Create outreach templates and support content‑marketing initiatives.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships with prospects until they become qualified opportunities.
• Stay up‑to‑date on Orca AI’s products and services through training and self‑study.
• Collaborate closely with the global sales team to generate new business in mid‑large enterprise markets.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Sales Development Representative or similar role in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Strong understanding of sales performance metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
• Team‑player attitude with experience working cross‑functionally.
• Experience in the maritime sector or with AI/ML products is a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with cold calling and outbound outreach techniques.
• Strong English communication (written and verbal).
