Accounting Manager – Financial Services

About the role

At BMW Group Financial Services Hellas we provide tailored mobility financing solutions in Greece. We are seeking a highly analytical and detail‑oriented Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely month‑end and year‑end closings.
• Supervise core accounting activities including fixed assets, general ledger, reconciliations, payables, receivables and tax processes.
• Lead preparation and submission of annual financial statements in line with Greek GAAP, IFRS and corporate tax requirements.
• Act as primary contact for auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen internal controls and support digitalisation and AI initiatives.
• Provide accounting expertise for new products and projects, ensuring alignment with BMW Group standards.
• Lead, develop and mentor the accounting team.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• A‑Class accounting licence.
• Strong knowledge of Greek GAAP, IFRS and Greek tax regulations.
• Minimum six years of professional accounting experience, preferably in banking, financial services, automotive or rental sectors.
• Proven experience in developing, coaching and empowering teams.
• Fluent in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
