IT Site Support Specialist (Onsite)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Site Support Specialist to be the primary onsite technology partner for Schneider Electric employees. In this role you will deliver Level 2 support, manage equipment lifecycles and ensure a seamless user experience across one or more sites. You will work closely with infrastructure teams and business stakeholders to keep the environment secure and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 onsite support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers and workplace technologies.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, Microsoft 365, Teams, and connectivity issues.
• Manage incidents and service requests within SLA targets while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Support device installations, upgrades, office moves and equipment lifecycle activities.
• Maintain IT asset and inventory records, coordinate procurement, warranty and vendor activities.
• Deliver meeting‑room, AV and event support for business‑critical meetings.
• Prepare and deploy equipment for new hires and assist with employee technology adoption.
• Provide onsite Smart Hands & Feet support to infrastructure teams and ensure compliance with security policies and ITIL processes.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience in enterprise or desktop IT support.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as the primary IT contact for a site.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region when required.
• Experience supporting executive or VIP users is a plus.
