Logistics Supervisor

About the role

ICAP Executive Search, on behalf of a well‑established commercial company, is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily order flow and coordinate with third‑party logistics providers. The role ensures accurate order transmission, manages exceptions, and supports inventory accuracy across warehouses.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the daily order flow from ERP to 3PL.
• Ensure accurate transmission and timely execution of customer orders by the 3PL.
• Monitor order processing and proactively resolve discrepancies and operational issues.
• Coordinate with 3PL, carriers, and logistics partners to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Handle operational exceptions such as delayed or missing shipments, including escalation management.
• Manage the returns process and resolve shipment or delivery‑related disputes.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy across systems and warehouses.
• Identify slow‑moving or inactive stock and propose optimization actions (e.g., stock relocation between warehouses).
• Support the annual stock‑take process, ensuring coordination between internal teams and the 3PL.
• Maintain operational reporting and provide insights on order flow, stock movement, and operational exceptions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain.
• Strong numerical and analytical thinking skills.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems or a strong willingness and ability to learn quickly.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple operational tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Hands‑on, proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
