Youth Center Manager

About the role

ActionAid Hellas is looking for an experienced Youth Center Manager to lead its Youth Center in Thessaloniki. The role involves overseeing programmes, staff, operations and resources to deliver high‑impact services for young people aged 18‑30.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual operational plans, objectives and budgets.
• Oversee programme implementation, monitoring, reporting and ensure quality and impact.
• Lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team in an inclusive environment.
• Manage the centre’s budget and resources in line with organisational and donor requirements.
• Build and maintain partnerships with local authorities, educational institutions, NGOs and community stakeholders.
• Represent ActionAid Hellas in local networks, events and partnership meetings.
• Identify new partnership, programme and initiative opportunities to enhance impact and sustainability.
• Contribute to new programme development and project proposals with fundraising teams.
• Ensure the centre operates as a safe, welcoming and inclusive space.
• Collaborate with internal teams for integrated programme planning and delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, political science, international relations, education, community development or related field (Master’s degree is an asset).
• Minimum five years of experience in programme or project management within NGOs, social impact or international development.
• Proven experience in multidisciplinary team management, staff development, programme planning, budget management and donor reporting.
• Experience with diverse funding mechanisms such as EU programmes, foundations and corporate CSR partnerships.
