Treating Physician (Pathologist/GP) – Weight Care

About the role

Doctoranytime is launching a digitally‑enabled Weight Care clinic and needs a qualified physician to lead patient treatment. You will work remotely, using a chat‑based platform to assess, prescribe, and monitor patients seeking medically supervised weight management.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with patients via the Doctoranytime chat interface, collect medical history, BMI, comorbidities, and contraindications.
• Determine each patient’s care pathway – treatment, nutrition support, referral, or specialist involvement.
• Review and approve AI‑generated treatment plans, set medication dosing, and guide titration.
• Monitor daily patient panels, respond to missed dose logs, medication refills, and symptom check‑ins.
• Escalate red‑flag situations according to clinical protocol.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings with nutritionists, psychologists, labs, and specialists as needed.
• Attend weekly meetings with Clinical Operations and Product teams to improve the service.

Required profile

• Medical degree with a specialty in pathology or general medicine.
• Passion for longitudinal patient care and tracking progress over weeks.
• Strong clinical judgment and clear, empathetic communication.
• Comfort using digital health tools and a clinical CRM.
• Availability for a stable 35‑hour weekly schedule, Monday‑Friday.
• Excellent English proficiency.
• Interest or experience in obesity/weight‑management care is a plus.
