About the role
The Transportation Manager will lead the planning and execution of school transportation services, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient travel for students. This role works closely with staff, parents and external partners to maintain high standards of vehicle safety and schedule adherence.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee transportation schedules and routes, optimizing for efficiency and student safety.
- Manage transportation staff and resources, including drivers and vehicle maintenance teams.
- Ensure the safety and regular maintenance of school vehicles in compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate with parents and guardians to address transportation needs and concerns.
- Apply school policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and health & safety standards.
Required profile
- Proven experience in transportation management, preferably within an educational setting.
- Relevant certifications in transportation management or logistics.
- Commitment to safeguarding principles and an inclusive culture.
